It all started in the 1940s when the Mora family made skipping ropes, skittles and other traditional wooden toys that are still in the range today. Some manufacturing processes have evolved, but the working methods and essence of the family business have remained the same. As the workforce expanded in the 1980s, Mora grew in many ways. A milestone was the introduction of the chess set from the renowned Industrias del Ajedrez brand.

Mora still bears the surname of the founding family, but thanks to respectful and sustainable development it has become what it is today. The company itself has grown, but the DNA still corresponds to a small family business that strives for quality, respects the environment and traditions and represents bold values. Mora Play stands for products that are fun, create memories and can be passed on from generation to generation thanks to their high quality.
