Oaklings was founded in 2020 by Anja Pajor, an experienced media industry personality. A year of personal reflection inspired her to create her own brand, where she would have the time and freedom to create and create beautiful products in line with the time-tested Danish design tradition.

At that time, Anja was looking for a high chair for her daughter Saga. But it was impossible to find one that was consistent with the classic design traditions she loved, and none seemed to fit with the rest of her home decor. This became the starting point for Oaklings and a new career path for her.

Along the way she has met and worked with amazingly talented people, each of whom contributed to the brand image and furniture. She is deeply grateful that so many people understood and shared her desire to create high-quality designer furniture for children with a classic and timeless appeal. Oaklings strives to ensure that the furniture becomes beautiful elements in children's rooms everywhere and that the chairs are loved and appreciated by their little users and their parents for generations.
