The Printed Peanut is an ever-growing collection of illustrated items for you and your home, designed by Louise Lockhart. All products are made in the UK and aim to use environmentally friendly materials wherever possible. In 2012, illustrator Louise Lockhart was working in a beautiful stationery store in Vancouver, which inspired her to start her own line of illustrated products. Realizing there was a gap in the market for quality party games, she began making her version of Pass the Parcel (fueled on peanut butter), and thus The Printed Peanut was born. The Printed Peanut is still a one-woman operation but is now based in sunny Yorkshire, UK. Louise lives and works in an old cotton factory where she spends her days creating designs from small paper cutouts and line drawings. Inspired by vintage textiles and print ephemera, her unique and colorful work has been applied to a diverse range of products including toys, games, clothing and pieces for your home. Louise is also a freelance illustrator working on children's books, working with clients such as Boden, Anthropologie, Liberty and Heal's.
